AND THE MOST RUSHED PART FOR BUSY PEOPLE - ESPECIALLY PARENTS!!!
So adapting a breakfast that works in ALL timelines was important to me. Here is my 5 Minute Oatmeal Recipe. Literally, quick, delicious, and anyone can make it. Also, little to no clean up necessary.
Start With Oats - I love the 3 Minute Oats. They only take me 2:30 to cook!
Step 2 - Add Nuts - I like walnuts.
Step 3 - FRUIT, and MORE FRUIT. The fruit is important because it removes the need for added sugar. Here I use bananas and blueberries, but I have used EVERY fruit in my oatmeal. Whichever is in season.
Step 4 - Dirt, and lots of it - Actually Flax, but my daughter calls it the dirt, so there you have it. This makes it super.
Step 5 - Cinnamon - NOT, cinnamon sugar. Just cinnamon, or as I like to say while I put it in, "More Dirt."
Finally, mash and serve. I timed myself making this, and it took exactly 4 minutes and 53 seconds. Nothing to clean up except for a banana peel that I had to throw away and a dish for the dishwasher (OK, and a spoon.)
This is easy. Try it and let me know what you think. Be sure to subscribe at the top of this post for more updates.
